IC is an established component of some sort of electronic components such as
Resistor,
Capacitor,
Diode,
Transistor are assembled into a single integrated circuit on a chip. IC has a number of legs varying from 3, 8, 14, 16, even up to 40 feet. The legs are arranged in the form of 2 lines or DIL (Dual In Line). IC components are extremely sensitive and easily damaged, and therefore to note the following:
1. Giving voltage must comply with the provisions.
2. Installation of the legs are not reversed.
3. In the installation must use the IC socket.
4. At the time of soldering socket, IC is not installed.
Several types of IC include:
- Type IC TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic)
- IC CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
- IC type MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor)
